Just A Little Street Fight, Or So They Thought
On May 5th, 1770 the Boston Massacre began. A few colonists started taunting the British soldiers while throwing rocks and snowballs at them. They did this for a few hours until the soldiers got so mad they started retaliating. At first, the soldiers tried to use only verbal commands to stop the colonists, but they soon realized that was not nearly powerful enough to completely stop them. They soon called for more soldiers but their verbal commands were still not nearly powerful enough to stop the colonists. Then, a soldier who's identity is still unknown to this day, fired his gun. A few more shots followed and then the crowd seemed to slowly flee from the site. The soldiers then returned to their bases and the colonists returned to their houses, and what was now known as the "Boston Massacre" was officially over. In the end, 5 people were declared dead and 8 were severally injured.
